While completing the Aurizon program New Dimensionz was asked to provide Digital Transformation consulting services for a major passenger rail company.

We helped guide the establishment of a 10-year Digital Blueprint, and subsequently stood up and lead a new Digital Planning and Transformation division for the organization.

They are facing the largest changes in at least 40 years with the introduction of European Train Control System (ETCS) and European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) within new sections of their network, along with a pressing need to implement three key digital transformation programs we shaped — being Intelligent Network Operations, Intelligent Asset Management, and a broader Digital Uplift (circa $380M investment over the 10 years).

This encompasses a step change in many areas of the organization such as commercial engagements and sourcing for digital, Information Technology/Operational Technology management and security, through to Portfolio/Program/Project changes required for investment planning, sourcing, and delivering digital-centric strategic change programs.
